Tight Rack ahahhaha
I know in English pool if you pot the 8-ball on the break it doesn’t count as a win. You either re-break or spot the black. Was reading the rules the other day.
I think other people have pointed out similar rules below.
So really this is pointless unless the people you play don’t know the rules?
When i move the cue 2-ball’s width off the rail, i never know exactly how big the balls in question are.
@hidemysocks yea i’d say my tight rack’s helped do some distracting from time to time. s’y i wear low cut shirts when i shoot lol.
In my experience I will break from the same position onto the 2nd ball only when the rack was loose and I have done very well in pocketing balls and making the 8 in. I was told to hit the 2nd ball when you get a loose rack ? Anyone have any thoughts about that? Thanks
@blindfoldsolving why dont u pay attention? this is for APA not BCA. idiot.
If u look at the rack he tried it more then once.
@hidemysocks When first heard that, I was like I have to comment on this. But of course, there’s always another persons who notice these childish things.
@blindfoldsolving Please stay in school! WTF??? WTF= you quote BCA rules??? Try reading a little…can you say.. “APA”???…..huh?, can you???
@Fubsjr He’s putting low english on the ball. Just try to draw it a bit, and don’t worry about hitting it too hard.
every time i try to do that, i scratch in the bottom side poccket
@wia729 4.8 From BCA rules:
“8-BALL POCKETED ON THE BREAK
If the 8-ball is pocketed on the break, breaker may ask for a re-rack or have the 8-ball spotted and continue shooting. If the breaker scratches while pocketing the 8-ball on the break, the incoming player has the option of a re-rack or having the 8-ball spotted and begin shooting with ball in hand behind the head string.”
So WTF?
@blindfoldsolving lmao dude,, listen to the very first part of this video.. where he says according to the APA league, if you make the 8 ball on the break you win.. geez
maybe i missunderstand the rules but why do u want Making the 8-Ball on the Break?
So badass! Trying this now!
…erm… his break potted the 8 ball… :S
Tom is a great guy! Weather he is in comp or just doing a show, he is nothing less then a perfect gentleman. Thank you Tom and the apa for all of your wonderful tips. “Keith O’Dell Sr”
I’ve always wondered why the ball leaves the table when I try to make the eight on the break and now I know thanks Dr. Cue.
Do you put any english on the ball at all?? because when i do this i sometimes scratch in the corner pocket
thank you dr. cue
Dr. Cue is the man!
all females should have a tight rack, lol
I played in a tournament a few months back. There were wear marks in all of the 25 tables going from the second diamond to the second ball back in the rack. It was unbelievable how many people do that break.
A guy broke that way against my teammate and made the 8, I played the game after and hit the lead ball from just left of the head spot and made the 8.
I’ve witnessed a guy making the 8 three racks in a row. That’s impressive.
