If anyone is having trouble deciding on which tip to buy you might want to try a Kamui tip. i bought a soft Kamui Black and it is insane. That is, if you want english you’ve got it. I’ve played with it about every night for the past 2 months ( 5-6 games per night). Oh and go with the medium, i just looked at my tip and it seems to have gone from a dime to a nickel. (11.75 mm tip if you were wondering)

Those looking for a comfortable grip wrap should check out the Lucasi Hybrid cues with G5 golf grip technology. it’s a rubber grip that won’t slide in your hand, I have a lighter grip on the cue so this is ideal for me. plus it absorbs the vibrations of the shot thus giving a great feel.

I’ve always liked Viking sticks. I like a heavy stick, as I like to stroke softly, and I have good control with a 21 oz., and Viking usually is available at that weight, without having to special order it. I like the nice thick tips as well.

Get a leather or lizard wrap…I’ve always used leather or lizards, I never liked linen. Easier to keep clean, and very comfortable.

Thank you so much for you help! I’ve bought two pool sticks so far and I’m looking to buy a third one. My first one had an Irish Linen wrap which gave me a blister within 5 hours of playing. My second one has no wrap but the tip is too thick. Can you please help me? Since I like no wraps, would veltex feel the same as having no wraps? What is veltex? Thank you!
