Categorising Lesson Levels – Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced

This is a common way I arrange my lessons. If you do not like being put into molds or categories do not read on, just continue to learn what ever you want. I find this a good guide to fill gaps in the teachings skip some subjects. The group of students first, I in three main levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced). Then, each of these main groups into subgroups (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3). Then, each of these subgroups into sections (Theory, Strings & Melody and Rhythm & Riffs), the melody and riffs are divided into two sections (Notation and tablature). So we end up with. . . Melody & Riffs ; can place a diatonic scale on all the chords in CAGED system

My teaching philosophy is to encourage interest and passion that my students have for music, allowing them to learn the guitar through their favorite songs. It is useless to try to force the sight reading and music theory on a teenager who wants nothing more than being in a band just for fun. I always found that music can be successfully taught once someone has been playing for a while, and they begin to love the instrument. Because they improve the basics, their natural desire is to become better and now they realize they need to know (and, especially, want to know) the theory first they despised!

exercise was always the same. When you returned to school each fall you had the same challenge: meeting the traditional “what I did during my summer vacation” in the presentation of the preliminary class. Fast forward a few decades. Now you can track the challenge, answer the “what I did on my Professional Development Day-Off” to the question. For some, the idea of this extraordinary day the office was a good thing. Imagine a day off-site, in jeans and boots. A day where cell phones and Droids are forbidden and even missing their camera when attached. One day a port rules pot-a-day and no one complains. Yet, a day to question some executives figured trampled their feet in tantrums imagination. Look in the mirror and see your reflection. Look into the eyes of a horse and see your reflection in a mirror on all fours. A mirror whose survival has depended for centuries on an innate ability to identify leadership. A mirror image which you can change in minutes. In the absence of constituency in question, a horse can help you identify your communication skills and leadership. It’s really very simple: if you can ride a horse without a halter or lead, you can lead a team or company. If a horse will not follow you, will not be a prospect, customer, team or council member. frameworks lessons learned in one day off-site with three horses and teach for two professionals to observe.

Lesson # 1: You must know where you go if you want someone to follow In the first year

morning, Nick was unable to get Boss to move, not an inch. He stood in the middle of pastures, mentally begging thousand pounds to the horse back. You can pull, cajole, or bribe. A horse will not follow a provisional leader. If you want a horse to follow, you need to know where you go. Here’s a news flash: People need to know where you go, too.

Lesson # 2: Keep the horse, and your audience, the activity A horse can follow you, then stops. Because you have not kept engaged. Jim learned he had to keep his eyes on his goal before and at the same time he had to stay in contact with the horse. Here’s a news flash : an audience of Man will also withdraw if you do not stay connected.

Lesson # 3: mixed messages are ‘confusion / p> Tony waved his arms to get the horse to move forward. At the same time, he said, whoa, whoa. Here’s a news flash: when You give mixed signals you prevent your own progress. How many times have you wondered why you have not received your answer here?

Lesson # 4: Sometimes you must get “muddy” for

Kim, put yourself in a round enclosure with a loose horse, and mud in the middle. The horse represents your immediate reference. The only way to get the horse “on the railroad was for Kim to walk in the mud. The horse needs to feel and see your presence. Some things you can not legislate over. Here is a flash : at times you have to engage in communication by hand, you must get off the perch 10.000 or 30.000.

Lesson # 5: “Pray it moves ‘n’ Winning is not a

Jeff has been thwarted in the pool “practice. In this challenge, you must get the horse loose in a pocket you created. You identify horses as identification Ball. Then you continue to work the horse in the designated pocket. At one point Jeff said, we’ll just pray (the horse) moves. Here’s a news flash: pray outside the church is simply not a strategy.

Lesson # 6: Do not give up the leadership willingly At a point the participants were a team. Each person may speak only when they withdrew from the line as the provisional leader. Each was then thirty seconds of talk, lead, solve problems. Some rose from the shadows and worthless added time as leader. Here’s a news flash: Leaders do not disappear in the spotlight.

Lesson # 7: You do not have to be the leader to be

The obstacle course is a tedious exercise. We would still be in the pasture except for Jeff S. First team to up an obstacle course using an array of supply. Then they had to get a horse through the course without a halter or lead. Here’s a news flash: to all participants can encourage commitment. The leader is not solely responsible for the success of the team.

Lesson # 8: There is a difference between corruption and

Tracy returned to the barn for carrots. Corruption is beginning to attract. reward comes at the end. Here’s a news flash: When you start with corruption, it becomes difficult to put an end to corruption.

Lesson # 9: Push through your barriers

Everyone had obstacles. They were just different obstacles. The challenge each summer to spend their own. Here’s a news flash: We all have obstacles. Use all the resources you need to use to further your own. What you do on your professional day off? You got in a pasture with 3,000 pounds of horse, was playing billiards with a horse that the ball, but I got a horse through an obstacle course auspices of the UN, spent one-on-one time with a horse in a pen with the horse metaphor for a professional challenge. And you learned about yourself and how to lead people, a business and a profession.
