i believe many others will agree that illustrating with a actual cue and ball is better than a .ppt one.. as it will make it alot more interesting!

Both of your videos are okay but why not show people how to pivot with Center to Edge? With CTE, every shot is the same. You dont have to learn all the fractions and? math in the second part of your series.

This video does havve many good concepts when aiming that most people don’t think about. What I have found that WORKS on cut shots is to use the eye for whatever direction the object ball is going. For example if you are cutting a ball towards the left use your LEFT EYE and if your cutting a shot to the right use your RIGHT EYE. You? will find that your percentage of making shots will improve. Like anything else this does take some practice, but is very effective.

you explained situations so well. thanks again mike. God bless? .

However I agree on the fullball hit and the 30 degree (half ball) hit. Whit these shots your sightline stays above your cue.
Quarter ball? hit for example, i rather aim at a quarter bal next to the object ball (i.e. target is in mid air OR extend that line to a spot on the rail ) than chancing sight line.

The concept is clear but this absolutely a don’t in pool. This isn’t what pool text-books say and i would’t learn this myself or other people. Look at snooker players thay have always their chin on te stick. With pool you don’t have to have your chin on the cue but your sight line? has to be the equal to your stick line. Some (pro) pool players don’t have their sight line equal to their stick line because they prefer to to have their dominant eye above their cue,but they are consistent whith tha

when u r talking about sightline being parallel do you mean aim not at the ball but where the parallel line actually hits? i dont quite? understand it sorry

I? need all the help I can get. Thanks alot for the tip.

  23. benvnguyen on December 24, 2011 at 5:30 am

This video is great. It made me realize my sight line has been non-parallel? to the stick line in all the years i’ve been playing!
